Teaching Methods

Our teaching method is primarily based on traditional Italian schooling, focusing on realism and classical art.

In addition, we have enriched our programs by inserting the best elements of the main international art schools. This expands the knowledge of our students and makes the learning process more effective.

Our professional skills and years of teaching experience allows us to offer a wide range of courses in different artistic disciplines. Unlike many art schools, after a complete classical-academic training we help our students to explore and find their own personal artistic voice.

On the first day of class, we make an assessment of the student's artistic level. Basing on this, we propose a program that we believe will be the best for the student. During the courses, students learn to draw and paint from photographic references, still life models, and life studies.

Teaching takes place in English and Italian, according to preference. For our art courses we have a maximum of 8 students per class. A smaller group ensures more effective learning and tailored lessons of the best quality. We make sure to give students constant feedback, so the study process is a joint effort between the teacher and the student.

Our art studio is located in the center of Florence, a stone's throw from the Duomo and the Galleria dell’Accademia. The studio rooms are very bright, full of natural light and the environment is very comfortable.
