Drawing Course
The course is starting from the presentation of all principle drawing techniques. In our studio, we primarily focus on teaching the two major techniques, sight size and constructive drawing, excluding drawing with a grid and tracing. This helps our students to take proportions with their tools and draw exactly from life and imagination.
The class will begin with one-to-one drawing where the challenge is to represent the subjects (from pictures and from life) in there exact dimensions and as realistic as possible. The course continues with constructive drawing lessons introducing students to a more advance technique of drawing. During the drawing course, we will cover the following topics: proportions and measurements, shadowing techniques, and the use of different tools such as pencils, charcoals, and ink.
During the class we provide reference pictures to draw from, casts, still life, and for advanced level students (with previous art experience) we teach drawing from imagination. The mediums used during the course are pencil, charcoal, and ink.
All materials are included.
